Indian Students Make Human Red Ribbon Ahead of World AIDS Day

▶️Nearly 1,500 students gathered in India’s western Rajkot city on Friday, November 29, to make a human ribbon – the symbol of HIV/AIDS awareness ahead of World AIDS Day.
👉AIDS Prevention Club chairman, Arun Dave, said such programs are important especially among teenagers who hesitate to ask the disease, as any talk about sex is still considered a taboo in the country.
According to a U.N. report, a total of 2.1 million people infected from HIV virus are estimated to be living in India, as of 2017. (REUTERS)
