World Health Organization Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said Monday that “influenza surveillance has either been suspended or is declining in many countries and there has been a sharp decline in sharing of influenza info and viruses because of the Covid-19 pandemic.” He made the remarks at a WHO news conference in Geneva on Maay 15.
