Trump Falsely Suggests There’s an HIV/AIDS Vaccine

President Donald Trump falsely said Tuesday that researchers have come up with an “AIDS vaccine” when touting efforts to develop a coronavirus vaccine. Later, he called it a treatment. He made the remarks on June 16 during a news conference in the Rose Garden of the White House in Washington, D.C.
